Wow! It’s been an amazing start to 2025 for all at Stroud Rugby Club
??? Firstly, a massive congratulations to our 1st XV on 4 consecutive solid wins, and many quality tries - what a great way to start the year. The teams hard work and dedication at training is coming into fruition on the pitch, and the lads have done a great job persevering against the muddy and cold conditions.
??️ Race Night! We are over the moon with how well our first race night fundraiser went and we are pleased to announce that a total of £722 was raised for Sunflower Suicide Support, and a grand total of £907.21 was generated for the players fund. Keep your eyes peeled for details of our next event…
??? Huge congrats to the Colts and Nomads who have been putting in some solid shifts, with the Colts securing 2 fantastic wins. We’ve also seen some great rugby from our age grade teams, with 3 home wins for the U13, U14, & U15 this weekend, including a rare drop goal from the U15s
??The club has hosted two hugely successful Friday nights lights games (with a third scheduled later this week), putting on some great hospitality for both sponsors and spectators alike. We were also very pleased to host a celebration for the engagement of our very own Player Coach and Bar Manager - Sam & Meg.
??Stroud is proud to have taken on some new shirt sponsors this year and the seniors are looking great in their new kit.
