Joe came through the Stroud Rugby Mini and Junior section and went on to represent the first team, making his senior debut in the 2019-20 season.

Having made the move to Clifton RFC for the 2021-22 season, Joe had a highly impressive debut season in National 2 South, attracting attention from a number of Premiership clubs.

Joe will be part of the Bears Integrated 1st XV Squad, playing and training alongside international stars such as Ellis Genge, Kyle Sinckler and Chris Vui.

Joe’s skill set, talent and athletic ability was clear for all to see while he was at Stroud, and I think it’s fair to say it was easy to see a bright future for him in the game.
